Yay! The Vancouver Aquarium will reopen its door to the public on Friday, June 26 after being closed for three months due to the COVID – 19 outbreak.
The Vancouver Aquarium’s reopening is in full compliance with orders from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer and recommendations from WorksafeBC. Public and animal safety is still Vancouver Aquarium’s top priority.
In accordance with the Government guidelines, the Vancouver Aquarium will implement new protocols to keep visitors safe. Anyone wishing to visit the Aquarium must purchase a ticket ahead of time. The Aquarium is offering advanced timed ticketed, one way flow experience in a crowd free setting.

All visitors must wear face masks and practice social distancing. The Aquarium asks that any guest who has cold or flu-like symptoms not to visit.There will also be hand sanitizing stations and safety signage throughout the facility.
The Aquarium’s reopening is timed with the Vancouver Park Board announcement that allows all cars to re-enter Stanley Park’s local roads.
