False Creek, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

False Creek, known as the Olympic Village, is a neat neighbourhood in the core of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada.  The False Creek neighbourhood project was recently in completion and substantially improved resources in the community.  Countless activities also create a family-friendly area and encourage tourism.

False Creek offers ferries for destinations and sightseeing. Destinations include Granville Island, the Maritime Museum, the Museum of Vancouver, the HR Macmillian Space Centre, the Bard on the Beach, Vancouver Aquatic Centre, Spyglass Place, Yaletown, Science World, and the Plaza of Nations.

Granville Island has a water park, a brewery, and markets that interest visitors of all ages.  The Maritime Museum displays vessels and ships that have historic importance while the Museum of Vancouver contains numerous reminders of the past with exhibits on every time period and shows to help people understand such rich history.  Furthermore, the HR Macmillian Space Center offers programs to help visitors get interested in exploration and space.  On the waterfront, the Bard on the Beach is presented to preserve the timeless influence of Shakespeare through performances.  The Vancouver Aquatic Centre contains an Olympic sized pool, fitness facilities, and diving opportunities.  Moreover, the Spyglass Place is in the Stamps Landing neighbourhood and offers pubs and entertainment of other kinds. Yaletown is a wondrous place

Southeast False Creek is where a doc has been built and five points have been placed across English Bay. This was part of a renovation project and has proved successful. With a focus on improving life for residents, Southeast False Creek will then include a grocery store, efficient boating facilities, and a great community centre. Other community resources that will be brought into False Creek include an interfaith religious centre, an elementary school, and 3 to 5 licensed childcare centres. The project will also introduce a new park that will encourage more residents to be active through habitat saving programs and conservation events while providing children with a great place to play.

Northeast False Creek is also undergoing changes in its community and they are all centred around bringing out the beauty of False Creek. This involves promoting the great waterfront views and beneficial parks that attract the community in this culturally charged neighbourhood. New renovations include connecting downtown and the waterfront through new bike paths and walking areas that will provide an opportunity for fitness while significantly reducing traffic and congestion throughout the community and even the whole part of the city.
